According to the Sacnilk website, the film has collected Rs 3.90 Cr in India Net till now and its total India gross stands at Rs 4.48 Cr. Collections picked up during the first weekend but slowed on weekdays. Day 3 on the first Sunday earned Rs 1.05Cr across 974 shows with 29.7% occupancy.

Day 4 on the first Monday brought in Rs 50 lakhs as it played across 879 shows with 20.7% occupancy. Day 5 on the first Tuesday collected Rs 65 lakhs and the shows stood at 813 with 22.0% occupancy.

One could even say that it’s his film more so than GVP’s. Abbas brings nostalgia and a certain easy charm to his comeback, even if his character is written with little depth.
