Join Indian Army: The Indian Army has issued a notification announcing the extension of the online registration for the Agniveer Recruitment Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026. The new deadline for the submission of the application has been fixed for 10th April 2026. The new date replaces the earlier closing date of 01 April 2026. The interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.The unmarried male candidates who fulfill the required qualifications can submit their applications for the Agniveer Recruitment. The Agniveer Recruitment consists of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (SKT), Agniveer Tradesman for 8th pass, and Agniveer Tradesman for 10th pass. Candidates should not use the services of intermediaries or touts (dalals) for the submission of the application. The candidates should submit the application on their own.The Eligibility CriteriaThe educational qualifications for Agniveer General Duty are 10th pass with a minimum of 45% in aggregate. Agniveer Technical requires 12th pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Agniveer Clerk/SKT requires 12th pass in any stream with 60% in aggregate. Agniveer Tradesman requires 8th pass and 10th pass. Soldier Technical, Sepoy Pharma, Religious Teacher, and other posts require higher qualifications.The age of the applicant should fall in the range of 17.5 years to 21 years as on 01 January 2026. The relaxation in age will be provided according to the official rules, which are mentioned in the official recruitment notification.Application Process and Application FeeThe Indian Army has provided a detailed procedure for submitting the online application. Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of required documents, such as a photo, signature, and ID proof, while submitting their applications. After completing the application, it is advised to preview the application before taking a printout.The application fee will be Rs. 250/-. The payment will be made through net banking, UPI, debit card, or credit card.• Direct link to apply onlineSelection procedureThe selection process consists of various tests: online written exams (computer-based tests), physical efficiency tests (PET) and measurement tests (PMT), typing tests/trade tests wherever applicable, document verification, and medical tests. The online written test is scheduled between 01 and 15 June 2026.The candidates successful in the online written test will undergo physical tests; then, successful candidates in PET/PMT will undergo trade tests wherever applicable. The selection process is complete after verifying documents and conducting medical tests.Vacancies and Pay ScaleThe Indian Army has published over 25,000 vacancies under the Agniveer Recruitment 2026 scheme.
