CTET result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CTET Result 2026 on its official website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates who appeared in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can now check and download their scorecards using their roll number and date of birth.The result has been released after the completion of the answer key review process. The board had earlier displayed the scanned OMR sheets and provisional answer key and invited objections from candidates before finalising the scores.Answer key process completed before result declarationCBSE had uploaded the scanned OMR answer sheets and provisional answer keys on March 12, 2026. Candidates were allowed to raise objections till March 15, 2026 by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per question. The board reviewed all the challenges submitted within the deadline through subject experts.Based on the evaluation of these objections, the final answer key was prepared. The CTET result has been calculated strictly on the basis of this revised answer key, and no further changes will be made.Over 2.5 million candidates appeared in February examThe CTET 2026 examination was conducted on February 7 and 8 across the country. More than 2.5 million candidates had registered for the test, making it one of the largest eligibility examinations for teaching roles.The exam was held for two papers. In Paper 1, the exam was held for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5. In Paper 2, the exam was held for candidates who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8.
