According to a report by Money Control, the production house behind ‘Pushpa’ is planning something huge for the upcoming instalment. The production is apparently working on a long-term cinematic universe idea. They will reportedly expand the Pushpa world, with more characters. The pre-production is underway, and the makers are taking their time to craft a strong story. They have set up an office in Hyderabad and are developing the script.If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to rope in Salman Khan to play a powerful character named Sultan. The character is reportedly a billionaire mastermind and a business tycoon. Salman Khan might appear in a cameo role, and later, depending on the success, the makers would perhaps make a standalone film.

When will ‘Pushpa 3’ go on floors?

Meanwhile, it might take quite a while before ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage’ goes on floors, as Allu Arjun and the director Sukumara are engaged with other projects. As per reports, the director will complete his next with Ram Charan, before stepping into the third instalment of ‘Pushpa 3’. The film is thought to hit the big screens by 2028. ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ starring Allu Arjun emerged as a box office juggernaut. The film collected Rs. 1742 crore from the worldwide box office, according to a report by Sacnilk. Directed by Sukumar, the film also featured Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. The second instalment shattered almost every record possible for an Indian film. It has become the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time, securing its place behind ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Dangal’.
