Hanuman Jayanti is the most prominent Hindu festival, which is devoted to honor Lord Hanuman. He is one of the Chiranjeevi’s, who is still present on this earth. The festival is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. He was born on this auspicious day of Purnima tithi of shukla paksha in the month of Chaitra. Hanuman Jayanti is one of the major Hindu festivals, which is dedicated to worship Lord Hanuman. On this special day, Lord Hanuman was born to Mata Anjani and Van Raj Kesari ans that’s why he is known as Anjani Putra and Kesari Nandan. He is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The purpose of his birth was to serve Lord Shri Ram and later he became an ardent devotee of Shri Ram, who served him whole life. Hanuman is the remover of all the evil and negative energies. He is the owner of Ashta Siddhi and Nav Nidhi. The one who worship him with pure intentions and deep faith, Lord Hanuman ji bless those people with all the materialistic pleasures and fulfill all their desired wishes.
Hanuman Jayanti 2026: Puja Rituals
1. One this special day, devotees wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath. 2. Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Hanuman. 3. Light a diya with desi ghee or jasmine oil and keep it in front of him. 4. Offer boondi laddoo or boondi to Hanuman ji. 5. Chant Hanuman Chalisa as many time as you can.6. Visit the temple and offer laddoo, chola, jasmine oil, coconut and boondi. 7. Seek blessings of Lord Hanuman by chanting mantras, reciting sundarkand path, and chanting the name of Lord Ram.
