HP High Court recruitment 2026: Registration for Clerk, Stenographer, Driver posts ends tomorrow; direct link to apply here

The High Court of Himachal Pradesh will close the online application process for Clerk, Stenographer and Driver posts tomorrow, March 28, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can submit their forms on the official recruitment portal before 11:59 pm.The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill regular vacancies under the Himachal Pradesh High Court Officers and the Members of Staff Recruitment, Promotion, Conditions of Service, Conduct and Appeal Rules, 2015.

As per the official notice, a total of 19 posts have been advertised across three categories.Clerk and Proof Reader: 17 postsStenographer Grade III: 1 postDriver: 1 postThe number of vacancies may change depending on administrative requirements.Important dates

  • Starting date of application: February 28, 2026
  • Last date to apply: March 28, 2026 till 11:59 pm

Applications are accepted only in online mode and no offline forms will be considered.

Eligibility criteria

For Clerk posts, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university and should qualify a typing test at 30 words per minute in English.For Stenographer posts, candidates need a graduation degree along with three years of experience and a stenography speed of 100 words per minute and typing speed of 50 words per minute in English.For Driver posts, candidates must have passed matriculation and hold a valid driving licence with at least three years of driving experience.

Age limit and application fee

The age of candidates will be calculated as on January 1, 2026. Candidates from unreserved and economically weaker section categories should be between 18 and 45 years. Reserved category candidates of Himachal Pradesh can apply up to 50 years of age.The application fee is ₹450 for unreserved candidates and ₹300 for candidates belonging to reserved categories of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection process

The selection process includes screening tests, written examination, typing or skill tests, and document verification depending on the post applied for.Candidates will be informed about exam schedules through SMS and email only.
