One user shared it online, captioning: “Ranveer Singh Visited Kashi Vishwanath Mandir after Grand Success of Dhurandhar!” The post went viral in popularity, fueling speculation that the actor stopped by the shrine soon after the film’s success.

Social media quickly uncovered that the viral video dates back in time. When it blew up, a user on X asked the AI bot Grok, “Is this video recent?” The bot clarified: “No, the video isn’t recent, it’s from April 14, 2024, when Ranveer Singh (with Kriti Sanon) visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi,” dispelling the rumors.
