Bokaro: Four of a family, including a one-year-old infant, were seriously injured after a vehicle rammed their motorcycle on the Barmasiya – Chandankiyari Road on Wednesday. The police personnel, who admitted them to a local hospital, also donated blood to save their lives. An investigation was initiated to identify the unidentified vehicle. Naseem Ansari, a resident of Bodua village, was travelling on a bike with Sabera Bibi, Saftoon Bibi and infant Shifan when their motorcycle was hit near Guwai River Bridge on the Barmasiya–Chandankiyari road under Barmasiya outpost.“Upon receiving information, Chandankiyari police station in-charge Amit Kumar Rai reached the spot promptly and shifted the injured to the local community health centre. Doctors referred them to a private hospital in Chas,” Bokaro SP Harvinder Singh said.
