Shehzad Shaikh has come on-board to play the role of Shlok in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, The actor plays a hotelier in the show and shared that he has taken inspiration from his real life to play the character.He said, “Many do not know that in real life I am an Hons Graduate in hotel management from the Taj institute in Aurangabad and just like in real life my reel life character is also a hotelier. He is going through the many turmoils that all hospitality industry professionals go through.”“I have had absolutely no time to prepare or get ready for the role. I have to pull from my real life experiences which is why a life well lived always helps,” he added.He explained that he is still building the character with the team of the show – the creatives, writers and directors. He said, “It is very important to build what is needed by the team and the project. An actor is only just a tool in the cast machinery system of film and television production.”“There is research, homework and dedication to the craft to respect and build with all departments as a team,” he added.With deepest respect and gratitude for producers Ravie and Sargun, Shehzad said, “It truly is an honour working for them. I have been a fan of their work since the Jamai Raja days and they have been so generous. I would definitely say they are one of the best producers I have worked with.”
