Karan Johar also addressed the future of ‘Takht,’ which was announced in 2020 but later shelved. He is the writer of the film, and I believe it is the best piece of work in my career, and I hope to make that film one day.”The director also hinted at a new project that has not been discussed publicly. He said, “What I am actually developing, nobody is talking about that, and thank god for that.” He added, “In the garb of the K3G 2 rumour, the film that I am actually writing and developing, nobody has any idea about that.”‘Takht’ was first announced with a large ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor but was delayed and eventually shelved due to multiple factors, including the pandemic.
