'Watch your back': 26-year-old Massachusetts man charged with threatening Kash Patel's girlfriend Alexis Wilkins

A Massachusetts man sent a threatening email to Kash Patel’s girlfriend Alexis Wilkins saying that he would be happy when her face is “canoed by an assault rifle”.

A 26-year-old Massachusetts man has been arrested and charged after he sent a threatening email to FBI director Kash Patel‘s girlfriend Alexis Wilkins saying that he would be happy when her face is “canoed by an assault rifle”. Alden Welch Ruml was triggered by a news article that detailed how Patel ensured Wilkins’ security, providing her with FBI resources. “Watch your back,” Ruml wrote in anger in his threatening mail. Ruml pleaded not guilty during a court hearing after his arrest. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000 if convicted. In the court documents, Alexis Wilkins was not identified as the alleged victim. The indictment against Ruml instead described her only as an unnamed individual who had a personal relationship with a “high-ranking employee in the United States government.”According to court papers, she had been in Arizona when she received the email. She indicated being “frightened by the threatening email and changing their upcoming travel arrangements as a result,” an FBI agent said in the affidavit. The email could easily be tracked to Ruml who told agents at his place of work in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that he had been “upset” by the news article, the affidavit said. He denied any intent to harm anyone.Alexis Wilkins and her movement remain in the public scrutiny because of her relationship with Kash Patel which neither of them attempted to hide. Wilkins was called a ‘honeypot’, ‘Israeli agent’ because of their considerable age gap. While Wilkins, a country music singer and a political commentator, sued social media influencers who spread misinformation about her, Kash Patel faced questions for using FBI resources for his personal travels including his visits to his girlfriend, her events etc. Reports suggested Patel even deployed a SWAT team of the agency’s Nashville field office for the protection of his girlfriend.
