SS Rajamouli reviews 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'; showers praise on Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan for FLAWLESS film

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has joined the growing chorus of celebrities singing praise of director Aditya Dhar‘s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead. The ‘RRR’ director, in his latest post, shared his review of the film as he extended his congratulations to the director and his team for the box office blockbuster. “I loved Dhurandhar-1,” Rajamouli began and went on to add, “but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul.“

Lauding the film’s technical and creative elements, he went on to note, “The writing, casting, technical execution, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.”Praising Dhar’s vision, Rajamouli added the salute emoticon and said, “The writing manages to weave plot twists that create genuine tension charged with emotion. @AdityaDharFilms, you hit it out of the park. It takes guts to make and release a film 4 hours long. The audience is glued to the seat till the last frame.”

Commending leading man Ranveer’s performance in the film, he said, “@RanveerOfficial, what a performance man… The sequence with the sister in the shed is a masterclass in acting. From that beginning to the heart-wrenching climax, you mesmerized us both as Hamza and Jaskirat.”Extending a special mention to actor R Madhavan for his supporting role, he added, “@ActorMadhavan garu, you carried the helplessness and frustration of a nation so well that we felt your sucess as ours..”Concluding his note, the director wrote, “Congratulations to the entire team for the resounding success…”

South superstars praise ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’

The filmmaker’s endorsement for the film comes after leading south Indian actors like Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda and many others sharing their reviews of the film and showering lavish praise on the director, Ranveer and the cast for their stellar performances. Meanwhile, at the box office, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has already grossed over Rs 300 crore in just two days of its release in cinemas worldwide. All eyes are on the box office to see if the film can make it past the Rs 1,000 crore mark.
