In an interaction with HT City, Divya Dutta was asked to share her opinions about 8-hour shifts in the entertainment industry. She recalled attending an event where a woman was talking about “female rights.” The actress added that at the same time a “certain kind of man-bashing” was also happening. She further added, “And a guy just got up and said, ‘Ma’am, I totally agree with you, but can you please say to whomsoever it may concern?’ So we cannot generalize these things.“
She added, “Something I might be fine with; the other might not be. Her situation is different from mine. So who am I to comment on ABC’s situation? Also, it’s between two people. It’s between the actor and the producer.”Divya Dutta further shared that if she has a situation where she has to go early and the director is okay with it, “it’s fine.” She added, “If they’re not, then they don’t work together. It’s as simple as that.”
