The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) CBT 1 provisional answer key and response sheet window, allowing candidates to check their answers and raise objections. The review window opened on March 20, 2026 (from 5 PM) and will remain available until March 26, 2026 (5 PM).This step is part of RRB’s standard evaluation process to ensure transparency and accuracy before the declaration of results.

How to check RRB ALP answer key 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to access their response sheet and answer key:

  • Visit the official regional RRB website
  • Click on the link for RRB ALP CBT 1 Answer Key 2026
  • Log in using registration number and date of birth
  • View and download the question paper, responses, and answer key
  • Calculate probable scores

Objection process: What candidates must know

RRB has enabled an online facility for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key.

  • Objections must be submitted online only
  • A fee of ₹50 per question is applicable
  • The fee will be refunded if the objection is found valid
  • Candidates must provide supporting documents or justification

No objections will be accepted after March 26, 2026 (5 PM).

What happens next?

Once the objection window closes on March 26, 2026 (5 PM), the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will carefully review all submissions. Each objection will be evaluated against the official question papers and marking scheme. If a challenge is found valid, the corresponding answer in the provisional key will be corrected.After this review process, RRB will release the final answer key, which will be considered authoritative for calculating candidates’ scores in CBT 1. Based on these scores, the board will prepare the CBT 1 results, determining which candidates qualify for the next stage of recruitment.
