BENGALURU: Eleven passengers were detained for creating nuisance and obstructing operations on Namma Metro Green Line train Sunday night after a dispute over music escalated into a multi-station disruption. The trigger: The detained passengers – mainly a group of youngsters – launching into Bollywood numbers inside the moving train, which drew objections from fellow passengers.The incident took place on a train from Madavara – the terminal station near Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) – towards Kempegowda Interchange Metro Station. Videos on X showed passengers singing loudly, dancing and sitting on the floor inside coaches in violation of Metro rules. Many passengers returning from a concert held at BIEC began singing and dancing.
