'Aadu 3' advance booking: Jayasurya set for biggest opener; Rs 5.2 crore pre-sales
‘Aadu 3’ gears up for a March 19, 2026 release, boasting impressive pre-sales nearing Rs 6 crore, with Kerala leading ticket sales. Director Midhun Manuel Thomas reveals a two-part narrative strategy for extensive world-building. Pre-sales march towards Rs 6 crore mark

According to trade reports from Filmibeat, the film has witnessed a massive surge in advance booking collections just a day before release. Reports say that ‘Aadu 3’ has already collected around Rs 5.2 crore from worldwide pre-sales by the evening of March 18. The numbers are expected to touch the Rs 6 crore mark soon.Interestingly, the total first weekend advance booking collections are projected to cross Rs 7 crore.

Kerala leads with impressive ticket sales

The film has performed exceptionally well in Kerala, which remains its core market. Reports suggest that Aadu 3 has crossed Rs 3.25 crore in advance bookings in the state alone. Over 1.95 lakh tickets have already been sold in Kerala.

Ensemble cast

Apart from Jayasurya, the film features a wide ensemble cast. Actors like Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Indrans, Aju Varghese, Baiju, Bhagath Manuel, and Harikrishnan appear in key roles.The film’s music and background score have been composed by Shaan Rahman and he is expected to bring back the iconic BGM’s for each characters in the movie.

Director explains two-part narrative decision

In a recent interview with Club FM, Midhun Manuel Thomas opened up about the film’s structure and storytelling approach.He said, “Aadu 3 was never planned as a single-part film. That decision was made during the writing stage itself. The story requires extensive world building, which takes time. Since the narrative unfolds across two timelines, we needed enough space to establish the world properly. Up to a certain point, the story will be told in Part 1, which already runs for two hours and 47 minutes.”The director further added, “The remaining portions of the story will be completed in the second part, and the epic conclusion of Aadu will be made if the audience supports it.”With strong advance bookings and an ambitious narrative plan, ‘Aadu 3’ is all set to open big at the box office.
