Infact, the internet is in love with Vicky as a husband and calls him a green flag with just the way he talks about his wife and looks at her. Which is why, netizens are shocked to see this viral video of the actor. In this video, shared on Reddit and several other platforms, Vicky can be seen attending a wedding celebration. Vicky stepped on stage and addressed the groom. Referencing his famous line from Uri: The Surgical Strike directed by Aditya Dhar, he said, “Sir, mujhe aap se ek hi sawal poochna hai. How’s the josh?” The audience erupted in cheers as the actor recreated the dialogue that became iconic after the film’s release.Encouraged by the crowd’s reaction, Vicky continued with a light-hearted remark about married life. Turning to the audience, he added, “Dekha? Humesha maine yeh dekha hai bachelors ka josh humesha high rehta hai. Hum shaadhishuda waalo ke toh thode se josh (made a hand gesture like a crashing plane) saal bhar saal… Actually Akash ko tension lene ki zarurat nahi hai, 4 din mein josh kum nahi hota. Haina? But ek baar main chahta hun aap room se pooche ‘how’s the josh’, and we all know what to say: ‘high sir’. Correct?”

The comment quickly made its way to social media, where several users criticised the joke. Some netizens argued that if other married actors had made a similar remark, the reaction would have been far harsher. The reactions also referenced actors Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. One user wrote, “If ranbir had said this, there would have been numerous reels, podcasts, posts on x , reddit and Instagram telling us all how he is the worst husband ever,” while another echoed the sentiment, “I am no Ranbir fan but I agree…If Ranbir or even Ranveer had said this, there would’ve been arrest warrant out on them by now….Somehow nobody cares what anyone else says, not just Vicky….”

Other comments also called the joke outdated. At an event by The Hollywood Reporter India, when he was on stage, Neha Dhupia asked him, “How is it being a brand new dad?” Responding to it, Vicky said, “He is three months old right now, there’s very little a dad has to do when the baby is three months old, I’m just trying to be a cheerleader and I’m waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more. Right now, the mother is being the superhero and she’s been a warrior through her pregnancy and she’s been a warrior as a mother as well. I’m so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much.”
