Objects that block Chi flow without you knowing
Understanding Feng Shui allows us to see how our home environment impacts our lives. Items like cluttered hallways, damaged decor, and poorly placed mirrors can obstruct positive energy, affecting physical and emotional health. By tidying up these areas, removing sharp-edged furniture, and replacing fake plants, we create a welcoming space that nurtures better health, stronger relationships, and increased abundance.

As per Feng Shui, Chi is the life force energy that flows through your home, which influences your health, relationships, and wealth. When we are keen on adding more and more items that are meant to add positivity to the house, we often forget to remove certain items that block or limit this positivity. Let’s take a look at the objects that can potentially block the Chi flow.

The cluttered entrance

As per Feng Shui, the entrance of the house is the mouth of Chi, the place where energies enter the house. So, what of this entrance is cluttered with shows, storage boxes, dead plants, and old newspapers? A cluttered entrance is believed to result in missed opportunities, delayed progress, and mental fatigue.

Broken items

In Feng Shui, non-functioning, broken items symbolise paused growth and unresolved issues. Hence, keeping flickering lights, damaged appliances, and broken clocks can affect motivation and productivity.

Misplaced mirror

Mirrors are one of the powerful Feng Shui tools. It says that a single mispaced mirror can disrupt the Chi flow. Mirrors facing the main door are believed to push energy back. In bedrooms, it is advised not to keep mirrors facing the bed as it would affect sleep.

Sharp corners and pointed objects

In Feng Shui, furniture with sharp edges, exposed corners, or decorative weapons is called Sha Chi, or things that cut energy. This energy can lead to tension, arguments, and restlessness.

Storage under the bed

We often use the space under our beds to pack things. But this apparently blocks the Chi, which eventually affects our sleep. Keeping that space empty allows for rejuvenating energy.

Artificial plants

Too many artificial plants in the house is believed to trap stagnant Chi. Replacing them with living plants can instantly improve the energy.
