Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been creating a significant buzz about their impending wedding rumors, reportedly slated for February 26 in Udaipur. The pair reportedly got engaged in October 2025, with sources confirming that the wedding would take place next month. Now, Rashmika Mandanna has given her response to the reports in a recent interview.

During a chat with Prema, Mandanna was asked about the impending marriage buzz with Deverakonda next month. The actress replied, “It has been four years since these rumours began, right? And people have been asking the same question. People have been waiting for the same thing.”

Mandanna further said, “But today, the truth is, I will speak about it when it’s supposed to be spoken about. When it’s supposed to be spoken about, we will speak about it,” Rashmika told the host she’s open to discussing it off-camera.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently ringed in the New Year in Rome. Though neither of them confirmed to be vacationing as a pair, their photos from identical locations sparked fan conviction that they were together.

Private engagement details

As per a Hindustan Times report, Vijay and Rashmika reportedly held a private engagement in October 2025 with just close family present. Though the couple hasn’t gone public with it yet, the publication reported their wedding is fixed for February 26, 2026, at a Udaipur palace. Reportedly, no celebrities will be attending as it’ll be an intimate event with only loved ones, much like their engagement, set at one of the city’s heritage palaces.

On-screen history and upcoming roles

Vijay and Rashmika previously shared the screen in blockbusters like ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, with reports hinting at a reunion in Rahul Sankrityan’s next film. Vijay last appeared in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s ‘Kingdom’, while Rashmika featured in ‘Thamma’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and the Telugu release ‘The Girlfriend’ this year. Rashmika has ‘Cocktail 2’ and ‘Mysaa’ upcoming, as Vijay gears up for ‘Rowdy Janardhana’.
