Dubai Airports flight status on March 14: Air India to run 80 flights, IndiGo cancels 97 amid growing West Asia regional tensions

Flight operations to and from Dubai Airports, namely Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the busiest hubs and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and other major West Asian hubs remain disrupted on March 14, 2026. Other major airports in the United Arab Emirates remain operational but with reduced capacity amid the ongoing regional conflict which has largely affected airspace across the Middle East. Though services are gradually resuming, airlines are still operating limited schedules. Travel advisories are being issued urging passengers to check their flight status. Air India and Air India Express As per latest updates, Air India and Air India Express together are operating around 80 flights on March 14 across the Middle East. These services are aimed at managing passenger demand and helping clear the backlog caused by disruptions.The information was shared on their official X handle, “Air India and Air India Express will together operate 80 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region on 14 March 2026.”The airline has also mentioned that operations are being carefully planned after closely monitoring the situation in West Asia. The safety of passengers and crew while restoring connectivity remains the priority. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules through the airline’s official flight status portal.IndiGo cancels 97 flightsIn another update, IndiGo has announced cancellations of 97 flights on March 14 due to airspace restrictions in the region. The cancellation will affect services on many routes connecting India with the Middle East. The cancellations are linked to operational constraints and safety concerns.Despite the cancellations, IndiGo is operating some flights to prime destinations in West Asia with a reduced schedule. The airline also advised passengers to check flight status online before heading to the airports.
