According to an official notification linked to Advertisement No. A-4/E-1/2025 dated July 1, 2025, a total of 21,276 online applications were received for the Computer Assistant examination. Despite the massive response, only 7,898 candidates actually appeared for the first phase of the examination conducted on February 6, 2026.The recruitment drive is being conducted for 14 Computer Assistant posts, making the selection process exceptionally competitive.Following the evaluation of the first stage examination, the commission shortlisted candidates based on the rule of selecting ten times the number of vacancies, while also including candidates who secured marks equal to the last qualifying candidate.As a result, 169 candidates have been declared successful and will now proceed to the second stage, the Hindi typing test to be conducted on computer.The list of shortlisted candidates has been made available on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
