Flipkart shifts base to India, moves a step closer to IPO

MUMBAI: Flipkart has shifted its domicile to India from Singapore, a move that will speed up the firm’s IPO preparations as it gears up for a debut on the exchanges sometime by early 2027. Following the internal restructuring, Flipkart Internet has become the holding entity of the Walmart controlled group. “We are grateful to the Government of India for its support and look forward to the next phase of Flipkart’s growth as a fully Indian-domiciled company,” the firm said.
