The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to close the online registration process for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes (CUET PG) 2026 tomorrow. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses in central universities, state universities and other participating institutions must complete the application process within the stipulated timeline through the official portal.The CUET PG provides a single window for the entrance exam for Master’s programmes in a broad range of disciplines. With the registration deadline fast approaching, candidates are advised to finish the form filling and fee payment process.CUET PG 2026 registration schedule and exam overviewAccording to the official schedule, the application process for CUET PG 2026 began on December 14, 2025. The last date for submitting the online application form and paying the examination fee is January 20, 2026, until 11:50 PM. The application correction window will remain open from January 23 to January 25, 2026, until 11:50 PM.The CUET PG 2026 examination will be conducted in March 2026. The examination will take place in computer-based tests in 292 cities in India and in 16 other international sites around the world. The examination will include 157 subjects and will take place in three sessions for every candidate lasting for 90 minutes in each paper.Eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2026Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for CUET PG 2026. Students currently in the final year of their undergraduate programme are also eligible to submit applications, subject to fulfilling admission requirements at the time of counselling.Documents required for CUET PG 2026 applicationThe necessary documents required should be scanned and attached to the online application process by the applicants. These include a passport size photograph, signatures, academic information, and certificates. The certificates for categories should be attached by applicants applying under the reserved categories.

How to apply online for the CUET-PG Exam in 2026

1. Go to the CUET PG official website link here: https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/2. Follow the registry procedure in order to obtain a login identity/pair of passwords.3. Log-in using the log-in credentials and enter personal info, academic info, and contact info.4. Please upload the scanned images of the photo, signature, and necessary documents.5. Pay the required fee for applying and then submit the form.Application fee structureGeneral category candidates must pay Rs 1,400 for two papers, with an additional Rs 700 for each extra paper. OBC-NCL and EWS candidates are required to pay Rs 1,200 for two papers and Rs 600 per additional paper. SC, ST and Third Gender candidates must pay Rs 1,100 for two papers, while PwBD candidates must pay Rs 1,000 for two papers. Candidates applying from outside India are required to pay Rs 7,000 for two papers, with an additional Rs 3,500 for each extra paper.
