IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, announced that it now has over 1,000 women pilots. By doing so, the airline has become the first and only airline in the country to achieve this landmark, a powerful example of how women are not only taking charge on land but of the skies too. In a field historically dominated by men. As per reports, women now make up 17.5% of the airline’s total pilot workforce. It is an incredible remarkable feat.
