On Friday, Southwest Airlines Flight 2094 was diverted mid‑air due to a reported security concern involving a passenger. Authorities also said no charges will be filed against the passenger who was removed.Southwest Airlines issued a statement saying the aircraft landed safely and expressing appreciation for the professionalism of the crew. The airline also apologised to customers for the delay. No explosives were found during the search and passengers were later allowed to reboard the aircraft. The case is being handled under federal law, where making a false bomb threat on an aircraft can carry serious penalties.
