HPBSE uploads SMC-LDR Test-2026 answer keys, objections accepted until March 7

SMC-LDR Test-2026 answer keys: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBSE) has released the provisional answer keys for the SMC-LDR Test-2026 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examinations can now verify their responses and submit objections if discrepancies are found.Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Chairman of HPBSE, confirmed that the various subject examinations, including TGT Arts, TGT Medical, TGT Non-Medical, TGT Hindi, TGT Sanskrit, Drawing Master, and JBT, were conducted on February 22, 2026, across examination centres in the state. The Board has uploaded answer keys for all series – A, B, C, and D – to www.hpbose.org for candidate verification.Objections can be filed until March 7Candidates who identify errors in the answer keys can submit objections along with supporting evidence to the Question Paper Setting Branch by March 7, 2026. Submissions can be made either via email at hpbosesopapersetting.43@gmail.com or in person at the Board office on working days. The Board has clarified that no objections received after this date will be considered.The Board Chairman also noted that for Matriculation (10th) and Intermediate (12th) regular and State Open School (SOS) annual examinations in March 2026, MCQ answer keys will be made available within 48 hours of exam completion. Objections from candidates, teachers, or other individuals will be reviewed by subject experts, and necessary corrections will be applied by April 5, 2026.Practical evaluation for vocational subjects rescheduledDr. Sharma explained that the practical evaluation for vocational subjects in Classes 10th and 12th could not be completed in February as planned. On-the-job training (OJT) for vocational trainers and difficult geographical conditions in certain areas caused delays. Consequently, the evaluation period has been rescheduled from April 2, 2026, to April 17, 2026.

The Board has issued instructions to SPD/SSC offices and school principals to ensure the evaluations are conducted within this timeframe. Students who missed the initial schedule will be allowed to participate, with evaluations conducted online or offline as needed.Board emphasises transparency and adherenceDr. Sharma urged students to adhere to examination guidelines and reaffirmed that HPBSE is committed to maintaining a transparent, systematic, and student-friendly examination process. The Board continues to implement measures aimed at fairness and efficiency across all examinations.
