A dramatic video captured a Louisiana utility worker hanging from his safety harness after a bucket truck caught fire Tuesday, before he fell to the ground. The unidentified worker was seen suspended high above the street from the burning cherry picker as thick black smoke poured from the truck below. Flames continued to spread while he struggled to stay secure. Coworkers on a street in Baton Rouge rushed toward the scene, appearing to scramble for a way to bring him down safely.After the man fell, he was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to WAFB. The fire was believed to have been caused by a mechanical failure in the truck, according to fire officials.
