Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna tied the knot this morning in Udaipur, following traditional Telugu rituals. The ceremony took place at ITC Mementos hotel in the presence of close family and friends. Amid intense buzz around their relationship, fans cannot stop talking about how the couple met on the sets of Geetha Govindam. Over the years, admirers began calling the film’s hit track “Inkem Inkem” their real-life love song.

“Inkem Inkem” from the 2018 blockbuster ‘Geetha Govindam’ remains one of the most iconic romantic tracks in Telugu cinema. Sung by Sid Sriram and composed by Gopi Sundar, the song captured hearts instantly. Vijay played Govind, while Rashmika portrayed Geetha. Their chemistry in the sequence felt natural and tender. The track appears at a crucial moment in the film when love finally blossoms after tension and misunderstandings.
Meaning behind the lyrics
The phrase “Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale” translates to “What more could I ask for?” Lyricist Ananta Sriram crafted lines that express pure emotional fulfilment. In the film, the heroine reconciles with the hero after prolonged conflict. His persistence finally wins her acceptance. Pre-wedding celebrations and guests
According to NDTV reports suggest the couple performed a choreographed dance to “Inkem Inkem” during their sangeet on February 24 in Udaipur. The moment paid tribute to where their story began. Festivities also included a friendly cricket match between both families, playfully named the “Virosh Premier League.”About 100 guests attended, including directors Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rahul Ravindran, Tharun Bhascker, Eesha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath, Kalyani Priyadarshan and more were present.
Two weddings, one union
After the morning Telugu ceremony, the couple will host a traditional Coorg (Kodava) wedding in the evening to honour Rashmika’s heritage. Their teams distributed sweets to photographers outside the venue. The boxes even featured Rashmika’s picture. During a media interaction, a team member said, “We are just happy to share the celebrations with you and sharing these delicacies.”
