Rashmika’s little sister Shiman is just 14, creating a whopping 16-year age gap between the Mandanna sisters! For the unversed, Rashmika turns 29 this year (her birthday is on April 5!). There’s not much known about Rashmika’s younger sister due to privacy reasons and the fact that her family shields her from the spotlight.In a heartfelt 2025 Nod magazine interview, Rashmika shared the emotional toll of her busy career and how she misses being with her family, especially her younger sister. “I cry on my days off. I have a sister who is 16 years younger than me. She’s almost 13 now. I haven’t been able to see her grow up in the last eight years. She’s almost my height now, but I haven’t been able to see her journey,” Rashmilka had said, reported Bollywood Shaadis.Rashmika often calls Shiman her “own child” due to their bond and age difference. Back in April 2024, she also shared an emotional Instagram note, which read, “Dear lil sister, I love you. I hope you grow up to be a beautiful woman, a woman who everyone looks up to and respects… I promise you—I will try and protect you as much as I possibly can…”

As per reports, Rashmika’s father, Madan Mandanna, runs a coffee estate and a function hall in their hometown. Whereas her mom, Suman Mandanna, is a homemaker who championed Rashmika’s acting dreams. Despite Rashmika’s success and fame, her parents prefer to keep their lives private, and they are rarely papped—though Rashmika briefly posted (then deleted) a sweet January 2026 Instagram video of hugging her mom. Her family was also recently seen arriving at Udaipur, ahead of Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding festivities. Their wedding festivities kicked off with a sangeet on February 24, 2026, vows are set for today (February 26), and a grand Hyderabad reception follows on March 4.
