New Delhi: Tata Electronics has joined Qualcomm Technologies’ global network of module manufacturing partners to produce advanced automotive module products in India, securing a key anchor customer for its upcoming $3 billion semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility in Jagiroad in Assam. Through its partnership with Qualcomm, Tata Electronics will manufacture automotive modules, such as digital cockpits, infotainment, connectivity and intelligent vehicle systems, targeting growing demand from Indian and international automakers. Randhir Thakur, chief executive and MD of Tata Electronics, said the company will leverage its integrated systems packaging (ISP) solutions to deliver high-quality, high-performance products supporting Qualcomm Technologies’ global product leadership.
