For Muslims, Ramadan is one of the most significant month of the year. In the Islamic calendar, the entire month of Ramadan is regarded as the most sacred month. All Muslims are totally devoted to Allah during this time period; they offer their sincere prayers to him, observe strict fast from dawn to dusk without eating and drinking, engage in various spiritual and religious activities during this month, participate in iftari and sehri. According to the Islamic calendar, the ninth month is Ramadan, also known as Ramazan.
