'O'Romeo' Day 1 advance booking report: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri starrer sells over ONE LAKH tickets
Get ready for cinematic magic as ‘O’Romeo’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri has officially launched its advance ticket sales, selling a staggering 100,000 tickets and amassing an impressive Rs 3.05 crore. Directed by the brilliant Vishal Bhardwaj, this project marks the fourth time Kapoor joins forces with the acclaimed director.

Screening of Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s ‘O’Romeo’, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is set to begin today. The film has been the talk of the town since its announcement. The movie marks Kapoor’s fourth collaboration with the filmmaker. While the box office numbers will be available soon, until then, let’s take a look at its advance booking score.

‘O’Romeo’ Day 1 advance booking collection

According to the Sacnilk report, the movie is off to a good start, as it has sold over one lakh tickets in the country. The report stated that the film sold 118939 tickets (note: Data without block seats). With that, the Shahid Kapoor starrer has already earned Rs 3.05 crore at the box office in advance bookings. As per the same report, with the inclusion of blocked seats, the film’s total is expected to double to Rs 5.9 crore.As per the report, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Jaipur have contributed the most in the advance bookings.Now, it will be interesting to see how much the movie actually earns on Day 1 of its release.

The film will be crucial for Shahid Kapoor, as he has not given a single major hit since his last film, ‘Kabir Singh’. Fans of the actor have pinned their hopes on the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial to see their star finally back at the top.Apart from the lead stars, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, the movie also features Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Vikrant Massey. If reports are to be believed, Tamannaah and Vikrant worked on the movie without charging any money.The movie is based on the book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’ by Hussain Zaidi. Vishal Bhardwaj has also composed the music for the film and it features two songs crooned by Arijit Singh, who has recently announced his retirement from playback singing.It is out in theaters today, February 13, 2026.
