Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released the official notification for Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade‑C recruitment 2026. NCL has announced 270 posts for Assistant Foreman (Trainee) across multiple engineering streams. Along with the diploma, applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board. The application can be done online through the official website of NCL (www.nclcil.in). The online application dates are February 11, 2026 to March 5, 2026, up to 11:59 PM only. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will be ₹1,180, but it is exempted for SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories. Selected candidates will be posted in operational areas of Singrauli (MP) and Sonbhadra (UP). Selection process
The selection process will start with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which includes technical knowledge, reasoning skills, awareness, and aptitude.
