Rupali Ganguly praises Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge visuals after watching select scenes: ‘Every frame is amazing’

Rupali Ganguly, who is best known for her role in Anupamaa, has expressed her excitement for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh. Ahead of its March 19 theatrical release, the actor revealed that she recently watched select scenes from the sequel and was left impressed by its scale and visuals.

‘I can’t wait for the second part’

Speaking to NDTV, Rupali shared her admiration for the franchise and her eagerness for the upcoming installment. She said, “I watched Dhurandhar twice in theatre. What a film. I can’t wait for the second part to come out, and yesterday I saw bits and pieces from the second part also. Vijay was editing something, and we were doing a video call. And he was like, ‘See this shot, see this shot.’ Oh, what a shot it was, and I asked him to rewind again and show it to me again. Every frame is amazing.”Rupali’s personal connection to the film runs deeper, as her brother, choreographer Vijay Ganguly, is associated with the project. Her excitement reflects both her admiration as a viewer and her pride as family.

Star-studded sequel with high expectations

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the story of the original blockbuster. The sequel boasts an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.Produced by Jio Studios and Dhar’s B62 Studios, the film aims to reach a wide audience with releases planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Trailer launch and box office clash

As per a Bollywood Hungama report, the makers are expected to unveil the trailer after Holi on March 5. A grand launch event is reportedly being planned at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. The film is also set to face box office competition from Yash’s Toxic, raising the stakes ahead of release. The first Dhurandhar proved to be a massive commercial success, earning over Rs 837 crore in India and Rs 1,304 crore worldwide. With such numbers behind it, expectations for the sequel remain sky-high.
