Fifteen years ago, people across Syria took to the streets to demand democracy, freedom and equality. All religious and ethnic groups in our country, women and young people were united in their hope for a better future.
After years of war, people’s hopes grew again a year ago. Kurds, Arabs, Druze, Armenians, Syriacs, Turkmen, Alawites, Christians and Jews of Syria continue to strive for a better future for their country, one that does justice to its social diversity.
