Chatra: A 25-year-old woman, Poonam Devi, a resident of Gayghat village, was shot dead in Chatra district on Monday night in connection to a suspected a love triangle and family dispute, police said on Tuesday. They said she was shot at close range indicating a planned attack. Poonam was earlier married to Kishori Bhuiyan but she left him within four months of the marriage after entering into a relationship with another man Yogendra Bhuiyan, whom she later married. Yogendra has accused Kishori of carrying out the killing due to personal enmity. Hunterganj police station in-charge Prabhat Kumar said preliminary probe suggests the murder was committed due to a personal and relationship-related dispute.
