‘I snap very quickly’: Jaideep Ahlawat reveals struggle with his ‘destructive’ temper
Jaideep Ahlawat, known for ‘Paatal Lok’, recently opened up about his anger issues, calling his temper “destructive.” In a Rekhta interview, he admitted that controlling his anger remains tough despite improvement. Currently seen in Ikkis, Jaideep will next appear in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan, continuing his impactful Bollywood journey.

Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his roles in ‘Paatal Lok’ and other shows, has portrayed a diverse range of characters on screen. But he doesn’t share much about his personal life and usually appears happy and polite at public events. In a recent interview, Jaideep spoke honestly about having anger issues. He said that even though he has tried to control it, his anger can sometimes be “destructive.”

Jaideep Ahlawat shares his early acting journey

During a conversation on Rekhta’s YouTube channel, Jaideep shared various aspects of his life and career. He recalled how, in his early days as an aspiring actor, speaking natural Hindi was a challenge because his Haryanvi accent often came through. The actor also admitted that one old struggle still finds its way back into his life from time to time, his anger.

Jaideep Ahlawat admits anger management is still a challenge

Jaideep confessed that managing his anger continues to be a challenge for him. He shared, “My temper is still a bit of a problem. I snap very quickly, and at that point I don’t understand anything. Even though I try my best to keep it under control, once I snap, it becomes very difficult to bring it back on track. I usually have to leave that space, because if I continue to be in that space, my anger will just keep on increasing.”The actor continued, “Agar main kisi space mai hoon, aur mai kisi cheez se irritate ho raha hoon (If I am at a place and I am getting irritated by something), I try my best to keep calm or not get affected. But agar woh hat gaya (once I snap), I have to leave that particular space, because if I don’t, I won’t be able to be in that space again. So temper is still a problem. Ab boht control mein hai (Now it is quite in control), but it is very destructive. A few times, I have reacted violently, and that is a problem.”

Jaideep Ahlawat recently appeared in Sriram Raghavan’s war-based film ‘Ikkis’, which introduced Agastya Nanda in his first major role. The actor has an exciting lineup ahead as well, including ‘King’, where he is set to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
