The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Grade A and Grade B Recruitment 2026 notification. The online application process has started on February 6, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, rbi.org.in. The last date to submit the application form is February 26, 2026, up to 6 PM. A total of 21 vacancies have been announced for various specialist posts including Legal Officer, Manager (Technical), and Assistant Manager. The selection process will include an online examination followed by an interview. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notification carefully before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility conditions.

RBI vacancy details and important dates

RBI has announced 21 vacancies under Grade A and Grade B posts. These include:

  • Legal Officer in Grade B – 6 posts
  • Manager (Technical – Civil) – 2 posts
  • Manager (Technical – Electrical) – 1 post
  • Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade A – 4 posts
  • Assistant Manager (Protocol and Security) in Grade A – 8 posts

The online application window is open from February 6 to February 26, 2026. The written examination for all posts is scheduled to be held on March 14, 2026. Eligibility criteria and age limit

The eligibility conditions vary for each post.For Legal Officer (Grade B), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and a minimum of two years of experience. The age limit is 21 to 32 years.For Manager (Technical – Civil/Electrical), candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) and three years of work experience. The age limit is 21 to 35 years.For Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha), candidates must have a Master’s degree in Hindi or translation-related subjects. The age limit is 21 to 30 years.For Assistant Manager (Protocol and Security), candidates must have at least 10 years of commissioned service in the Armed Forces. The age limit is 25 to 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Selection process and salary details

The selection process will consist of an online examination and an interview round. Only candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the interview. Final selection will be based on overall performance.For Grade B officers, the basic pay starts at ₹78,450 per month. The gross monthly salary is approximately ₹1.53 lakh, excluding certain allowances. Grade A officers will receive salary and benefits as per RBI norms.Candidates should visit the official RBI website to apply and check detailed instructions before submission.
