Taking the argument to a popular social media platform, Ruffalo commented about all of the criticism and hatred that Billie Eilish has been receiving for the past week. Specifically, he addressed the criticism that the businessman, TV personality, and ‘Marty Supreme’ actor Kevin O’Leary made about the singer.Ruffalo, who is best known for playing the role of the green giant Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, took to his account to call out the TV personality for his comments. He stated, “Kevin O’Leary, why don’t you STFU. It’s hilarious. You will go on any show and talk shit about any number of things and smugly expect us to listen to you, but you will dig into a real artist that dwarfs anything you dream of doing for actually saying something that resonates with 100’s of millions of people the world over. It’s astounding the fantasy double standard Kevin O’Leary lives in.”Ruffalo further sarcastically commented about how his ‘Marty Supreme’ role was accurate to his personality. O’Leary played the role of a cutthroat businessman, Milton Rockwell. The businessman had earlier commented about celebrities getting into politics.

During his interview on ‘America Reports’ this past Tuesday, the ‘Shark Tank’ judge commented on his thoughts about Billie Eilish’s speech at the Grammys. The singer has been at the forefront of criticism online after she commented, “no one is illegal on stolen land” in relation to ICE’s crackdown on immigrants in the US. O’Leary commented, “Half the people in politics that you piss off won’t buy your music anymore. Don’t be stupid about it, but hey, they don’t listen. It’s the first lesson 101 for celebrity: As you rise up, whether you’re a film star, a music star [or] whatever, shut your mouth and just entertain.”

The Oscar-nominated actor had reportedly confirmed that he will not be one of the many returning stars to MCU’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ The news had hit fans, with many wondering whether he had been fired from the franchise or not. When he was asked about the same, the actor replied by saying many people have been commenting about it, but he does not think that he has been fired from the franchise.The actor is currently promoting his latest film ‘Crime 101’ in which he co-stars with Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry. He will also next be seen in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, reprising his role as Dr Bruce Banner/Hulk.
