2026 Suzuki Burgman Street launched: Prices, engine specs & what's new

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2026 Burgman Street in the Indian market. The model gets two new variants and features a mix of cosmetic updates, new features and a reworked platform. The scooter is priced from Rs 1.02 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.13 lakh, ex-showroom, while the Burgman Street EX trim continues to be sold alongside it at Rs 1.08 lakh without any changes.

2026 Suzuki Burgman: What’s new

Visually, the updated model retains its familiar maxi-scooter stance but gets noticeable tweaks. The front now features a revised split-LED headlamp setup with integrated DRLs. The apron looks slightly sharper and sleeker than before. There’s a newly-designed LED taillamp as well.Suzuki has also introduced new colour options, including Pearl Grace White, Mat Stellar Blue, Royal Bronze, Mat Black and Pearl Mat Shadow Green, with the top variant offering dual-tone finishes with Mat Luxe Copper.

One of the key highlights of the update is the addition of new features. The top-spec variant now comes equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with navigation, along with a keyless ignition system operated via a multifunction key fob. Lower variants, however, continue with an LCD display and a conventional key setup. The fuel filler has also been repositioned under the tail-lamp.The scooter now offers improved practicality with increased underseat storage, which has gone up to 24.6 litres from 21.5 litres. It also gets USB charging and twin front storage compartments.

2026 Suzuki Burgman: Engine

The Burgman Street is now based on a new platform derived from the Suzuki Access. The updated frame is claimed to be 500 grams lighter while offering 25 per cent higher torsional rigidity. Powering the scooter is the same 124cc, air-cooled engine. It now produces 8.4 hp and 10.2 Nm of torque and is paired with a CVT gearbox.
