1984 anti-Sikh riots case: Delhi court acquits ex-Congress MP Sajjan Kumar | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Thrusday acquitted former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in a case related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Janakpuri and Vikaspuri, in which two people were killed. The Rouse Avenue Court held that the prosecution had failed to establish Kumar’s role in the violence. During the trial, Kumar maintained that he was innocent, denied any involvement in the incident, and said there was no evidence linking him to the case.
